Offcut Designs offers both pre-made art pieces and furniture can also be commissioned to suit your space and decor. We can make pieces to fit any space and suit any style.

When commissioning a piece, the process is as follows:

1. Beginning the Process: We go to the place where the piece will be located in order to see the space, take measurements, and get a feel for your taste and preferences.
2. The Wood: We discuss the design ideas and type of wood we have in store. People may have certain preferences for the type of wood to be used. We prefer to use local and recycled/reclaimed wood wherever possible.
3. The Art: the art is what separates Offcut Designs from any other furniture; it is what makes it art. We shall discuss your favourite types of art, what "feel" you are looking for and if you have a certain palette in mind.
4. Your budget: Our furniture is art and is all custom one of a kind. The size, type of wood, complexity of design and artwork all contribute when calculating the cost of a piece. We will work our design to fit your budget.
5. The Design Step: Next we will design a piece based on our discussions. We will have a blue print for the furniture design and a mock-up of the artwork ready for your approval. Once you have approved the design and we have agreed upon the cost of the project and deadline, we will move forward to create the piece.
